We built an onboarding portal that helps learners set up their account, access video materials, and schedule their first feedback session. It all starts from the real need for an amateur photographer, subscribed to a masterclass, to quickly find resources without wasting time searching. The portal centralizes the steps: uploading the initial portfolio, choosing the study module (landscape or wildlife), and setting notification preferences for live workshops. We tested the flow with five users and adjusted the steps that caused confusion – for example, we simplified the equipment selection in the profile. The result is a coherent experience that reduces the onboarding time from about 20 minutes to under 7 minutes.
